Arkham Intel, one of the most powerful on-chain analytics tools, enables a more direct way of tracking specific chain behavior. This means that users can track whale activity, monitor market signals, and glean overall blockchain intelligence from within a single ecosystem.

Through a partnership with notification service Arkham Alerts, the company hopes to lock users in by providing an all-in-one crypto intelligence platform. And with the database as large as Arkham’s, the improved functionality gives plenty of reasons to check it out, even for crypto casino players and bettors.

Why Alerts Matter

Alerts are an essential tool in every crypto trader’s toolbox. By tracking transfers directly on blockchain (or multiple blockchains), they inform users of specific behaviour related to wallets that they opted to monitor.

Traders set specific conditions. These can be based on transaction size, token type, sender, or recipient, and receive a notification the moment those parameters are met. Or you can track large holders like Satoshi Nakamoto, the purported creator of Bitcoin, who holds over 1 million BTC.

Large holders like Satoshi or Coinbase often influence price action, and a sudden inflow to an exchange may be a signal of upcoming selling pressure. Similarly, large withdrawals can indicate accumulation. Without alerts, these signals are easy to miss. You’ll get notified the moment Satoshi’s address makes a transfer, and in turn inform your trading decision.

Arkham Intel Allows Whale Tracking Through Arkham Alerts

How Arkham Intel Changed the Game

The problem with Satoshi Nakamoto’s example (or indeed any other whale) is that there are over 22,000 addresses linked to the entity. Monitoring is difficult, to say the least, because any successful tracking effort would have to monitor the behavior of thousands of addresses and send out just as many alerts.

Arkham Intel solves that problem by enabling readers to follow the entity rather than a specific address. The platform’s ability to de-anonymize blockchain addresses and group them into unified entities has changed the game for its users, who can set one alert tied to that entity and immediately be notified of any and all movements.

Arkham’s database also includes many of the largest crypto entities in the world, from institutions to influential individuals, which simplifies gaining insight into the behavior of key market players. Its list of top 100 crypto holders is the benchmark in crypto trading, listing Binance, Coinbase, and Satoshi Nakamoto as the top three.

Arkham Alerts

By integrating Arkham Alerts, Arkham Intel takes the whole functionality a step further, letting traders create, customize, and receive alerts all within a unified system. The platform also supports multiple delivery channels, including messaging apps and webhooks, so that you never miss out on fresh updates.

To enable the Arkham Alerts, you need to head over to the Arkham Intel platform, locate the navigation bar, click Custom, go to Alerts, and opt to Create an Alert to open a new window. From there, you can set custom parameters like transaction size, token type, etc.

The Bigger Picture

The addition of real-time alerts reflects a broader shift in the crypto industry toward actionable intelligence. Blockchain data is becoming ever more complex and abundant, but the tools that can filter, interpret, and deliver that data in real time are following the lead.

Whale tracking is only one part of it. The Arkham system supports a variety of advanced strategies. Traders can monitor exchange inflows and outflows to anticipate sell-offs, detect dormant wallet activity that could trigger volatility, or track minting events (like large mints of USDT or USDC) that often precede broader market moves.

And Arkham Intel’s latest update is a step in the direction of providing complete service. By transforming the tool into more than a simple analytics, the platform is closer to becoming a full-service intelligence toolkit for crypto markets.
