Evolution Lands Exclusive Global Deal with Hasbro

Evolution software provider has signed a new global deal with Hasbro, giving it exclusive rights to develop live casino games and online slots based on the toy company’s most popular brands. This includes the legendary board game Monopoly, as well as other IPs from Hasbro Games.

The first batch of titles is expected to launch in January 2026, with a full global reveal planned for ICE Barcelona 2026—one of the largest events on the iGaming calendar scheduled for January 19th to 21st.

Takes Two to Monopoly

Evolution and Hasbro have a strong track record together, going back to the early days of iGaming. The uber-successful titles like Monopoly Live and Monopoly Big Baller have achieved blockbuster popularity in recent years, regularly topping the charts as the most-played live casino games anywhere in the world.

The two companies were quick to exchange pleasantries after the announcement. Todd Haushalter, Evolution’s Chief Product Officer, was rather upbeat in his assessment, saying: “The combining of Hasbro and Evolution just feels right—we will make magic together!”

Claire Hunter Gregson, who manages gaming partnerships at Hasbro, was just as positive, albeit a little more measured: “Evolution stood out for their ability to bring our brands to life in fresh, exciting ways. After a competitive process, they were the clear choice for this next chapter.”

Just as importantly, the multi-year agreement encompasses all of Evolution’s studios, not just the core brand. Using Evolution Gaming API, the Monopoly-themed content is also expected to come from NetEnt, Red Tiger, Nolimit City, and Ezugi, among other studios.

What Games Are Coming?

Details are still under wraps for slots, but a few new live casino titles have already been teased. These include:

• Game Night: A game show experience based on Hasbro’s board game portfolio;
• Monopoly Filthy Rich: A new live title mixing slot-style play and hosted action;
• Monopoly Roulette: A fresh take on roulette infused with some Hasbro magic.

One of the biggest drawcards of this deal is its global scope. Evolution operates in a wide range of regulated markets both as a provider and distributor, including the U.S., Canada, UK, Europe, and Latin America. And with more jurisdictions tightening compliance standards and demanding licensed content, familiar IPs like Monopoly become especially valuable.

Beyond Evolution

This deal constitutes a part of a broader Hasbro strategy to increase its brand presence across the iGaming industry. Alongside Evolution, the toy company also announced new partnerships with Aristocrat Gaming, Galaxy Gaming, and Bally’s.

Hasbro tapped Galaxy for developing and distributing table games based on iconic brands like Monopoly, Yahtzee, and Battleship. Aristocrat has been tasked with making land-based Monopoly slots, while Bally’s will distribute additional live and digital casino experiences.

Together, these deals demonstrate that Hasbro is making a significant move into both online and land-based gambling, with a strong focus on trusted partners in regulated markets.

A Milestone for Branded Gaming

Branded casino games—especially those tied to nostalgic, family-friendly IPs (such as Monopoly), are becoming increasingly sought after. They attract casual players and provide operators with a unique set of tools and marketing pitches that can’t be found anywhere else. This deal between Hasbro and Evolution is a strong signal that we’ll be seeing more big-name brands in iGaming, across both slots and live dealer formats.
