Evolution boosts its US presence by reintroducing Ezugi as the group’s second live dealer studio in the country. Ezugi is now live, operating from Evolution’s state-of-the-art studio in Atlantic City, NJ, with ambitious plans to expand to a new live casino studio facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

It’s a big comeback for the live dealer brand that was the first ever to enter the US.

Ezugi Games in the US

Ezugi announces itself to US audiences with two games, EZ Baccarat and Ultimate Auto Roulette, both integrated through Evolution’s One Stop Shop (OSS) platform.

The first is an innovative take on the classic game with Panda 8 and Dragon 7 side bets paying 25x and 40x, respectively. If we consider the hands-per-hour measure, EZ Baccarat is one of the fastest baccarat experiences on the market right now.

The other is a circus-themed roulette game set against a theatrical backdrop and featuring eight multipliers of between 50x and 1.000x. Available on straight bets only, the multipliers add an element of surprise to the classic European roulette formula.

Coming soon is another title, Revolution Roulette, a game featuring physical multiplier pockets (2x, 3x, and 5x) on the regular 40-pocket wheel.

Classics with a Twist

The games are carefully chosen to complement Evolution’s existing live game catalog. While Evolution revels in classic experiences, Ezugi brings localized titles and more experimental variants to the table.

Don’t take our word for it. Jacob Claesson, Evolution’s Chief Executive Officer of North America, had this to say: “Ezugi’s distinctive portfolio complements Evolution’s world-leading game shows and live casino range, enabling operators to deliver an even richer, more varied live gaming experience tailored to US players.”

Evolution in the US

By fielding a product line that offers something different, Evolution looks to cover all bases and cement its place as the go-to provider of live gaming experiences in the States.

The Ezugi launch is only one of several moves that Evolution has made recently on US soil. Earlier this week, the studio rolled out its flagship live game show Crazy Time in Connecticut, completing its rollout across all but one US state where Evolution has a footing. The one exception is Rhode Island.

The rollout is fairly significant. Connecticut studio launched in 2022 and has since hosted live dealer blackjack and roulette, but Crazy Time is another story. It’s far more expensive to run and keep on air, which signals Evolution’s dedication to and confidence in the market.

As for Rhode Island, the market population is small, and Evolution doesn’t have a studio there. However, it did partner with Bally’s earlier in July to feature slots by its subsidiaries NetEnt, Red Tiger, and Big Time Gaming.

Speaking of subsidiaries, Evolution also kickstarted Sneaky Slots, a studio pitched to rival Nolimit City in the bold and the gutsy side of online slot entertainment. Their first title, Nip Tuck, plays out as an over-the-top body modification tool and is already making waves.

Live from Grand Rapids

The undisputed crown jewel of Evolution’s upcoming expansion is its ambitious new live casino studio in Grand Rapids, Michigan, adding to the already operational studio in Southfield.

Few are aware that Ezugi was actually the first live dealer brand in the US market with a studio at Golden Nugget Atlantic City opening in 2017. The studio shut down shortly after the Evolution buyout, and Ezugi is now making a big comeback.

Planned for the first half of 2026, the new facilities are expected to host both Evolution and Ezugi titles and introduce localized Ezugi offerings such as Ultimate Roulette and 000 Roulette, as well as the innovative Marble Race with operator branding options available.
